The following Altrusans have been nominated for the District Three Foundation Board of Trustees. The Treasurer position is open. Please contact Jane Gray if you are interested in serving.

 

   
Foundation Trustee Jane Powell Gray
Raleigh, NC
Jane is a District Court Judge in Wake County. She was appointed by the Governor in 2002 and elected to a full term in 2004. In addition to Altrusa, Jane is active in her church, Highland United Methodist and various local and state Bar Association committees. She is also an appointee of the N.C. Chief Justice to the State Judicial Council, an advisory body on policy and budget matters of the courts. She has been married to her husband, Frank, for 34 years and they have one son, Matthew.
Marlene Jones
Charlotte, NC
Owner of C&M Enterprise, Inc., a specialty company that has been in business for 25 years,  and serves at Vice President. Also, have small divisions of C&M Tag (all types of paper and metal tags) and C&M Leasing (mobile storage leasing). Marlene has been married for 49 years to her high school sweetheart and is the mother of three adult children and grandmother to eight.
Foundation Treasurer Connie Cannon
Atlanta, GA
Connie is a former chair of the District Foundation and currently serves on the International Foundation Board. 

The election will be held during the District Three Conference in Gainesville, FL in April 2007.

Nominations will be open during the Foundation Luncheon on Friday. Before the name of a candidate is submitted from the floor, the person making the nomination needs to have the permission of the candidate to submit their name. Once the nominations are closed, a candidates forum will be held. This is your opportunity to ask questions of the candidates. Voting takes place following the workshops on Friday afternoon and all Altrusans in attendance at the Conference are eligible to vote for the District Foundation Trustees. The results are announced during the second business meeting Saturday morning.
