The Altrusa District Three Foundation is a 501(c) (3)
not-for-profit, philanthropic organization established in 1991
by District Three of Altrusa International to assist local
Altrusa Clubs with their service projects. |

The Altrusa District Three Foundation was established in 1991 to support Clubs in District Three Clubs with their Literacy and
Vocational Service projects through two endowed funds supported by District Three Altrusans through a variety of fund-raising
activities. Since that time, individuals and Clubs have added three additional endowed funds to support environmental projects,
rehabilitative service projects and ASTRA Clubs projects by District Three Altrusa Clubs.
In 2007, the Foundation announced the first grants would be available for District Three Clubs to support their service projects.
Past Governor Linda Robison established the Joey Robison Scholarship Fund for Non-Traditional Students in 2010 in memory of her son.
The Foundation also manages funds that district clubs raise for their own service projects
for Clubs that do not have their own foundation.
Altrusa District Three Foundation Board
Foundation Awards Foundation awards are available to the District Three Clubs for their service projects. The areas are: ASTRA, Rehabilitative Services, Literacy, Environmental and Vocational Service.
Foundation Grants in 2007, the Foundation announced the first grants would be awarded at Conference in 2008. To date, the Foundation has awarded over $9000 in grants to Clubs in District Three to help with their service projects.
Joey Robison Scholarship for Non-Traditional Students Following the unexpected death of her son, Past Governor Linda Robison wanted to honor his memory and at the same time help non-traditional students with their education by establishing the Joey Robison Scholarship.
Support for District Three Clubs District Three Clubs can establish an account with the District Three Foundation to encourage tax-deductible contributions by businesses and individuals to their projects and fundraisers.
