Nominating Committee to be elected at Conference 2008

A Nominating Committee must be elected at conference in Charlotte.  The purpose of this committee is to secure and certify persons to run for the Board of Directors in Tampa next year. 

According to our District Three Policies, a Nominating Committee person cannot serve from the same club two terms in a row.  For this reason, no members from Asheville, NC, Caldwell County, NC, Chapel Hill, NC or St. Augustine, FL can serve. 

Only one person from a club may serve and the person must have served as club president. If you have a former president from your club who knows a good many persons in the District, and who is willing to serve, please send me the name immediately. 

Five members can serve on the Nominating Committee and will be responsible for serving until the election in Tampa. If possible, these persons should be attending conference in Charlotte so they can be properly introduced to the delegate body.
