GOAL #3: A - Actively Participate
in the District-wide Sister Club Program (SCP)
Strategic Plan Goal:
Membership--Maximize membership growth and retention
Strategy--Implement District "Sister Club Program"
Mission Statement: Our mission is to foster a wider measure
of friendship and partnership by the pairing of clubs in the District Three
which will cultivate relationships, promote mutual support and solidarity between
Sister Clubs.
Suggestions for Sister Club Program:
- Share club newsletters and meeting minutes with Sister Club
- Communication between club committee chairs and club officers
- Offer mentoring and assistance where needed
- Seek support for projects from Sister Club
- Jointly develop a new literacy or service project between both clubs which
will be completed in both communities by March 2007
- Visit clubs when ever possible
- Share ideas and resources your club has available
- Share community projects hosted by other clubs as an avenue for new ideas
- Promote Sister Club activities at club meetings and in club newsletters
Requirements:
 | Report to your district liaison on a quarterly basis the sister club activity
beginning Feb 2006. The reporting form provided by district and sent to each
club in January 2006. |
| Your club will have completed this goal for 2006 conference if your form is
returned by March 1, 2006. |
| Complete joint literacy or service project in both communities by March 31,
2007. This will earn your club the achieve goal for the 2007 conference. |
