Governor-Elect	Robin Hall, Lake City, FL	“In addition to my love for Altrusa, I want to be a District Officer because I embrace the principles and ideals of Altrusa. It’s a joy to participate in club visits by sharing ideas and celebrating successes. I would bring to the District Board of Directors years of proven counseling and leadership experience. My top priority would be recruitment and retention of members and to provide clubs with the tools to accomplish this goal.”
	Janis McNemar, Statesville, NC	“In addition to my love for Altrusa, I want to be a District Officer because having served this biennium as the Vice Governor along with Governor Cindy Schad, I now have a deeper understanding for the commitment required to serve District Three. I have a greater appreciation for the role of governor having watched the time and energy our sitting governor has given to Altrusa.”
Vice-Governor	Beverly Hardy, Starke, FL	“In addition to my love for Altrusa, I want to be a District Officer because knowledge of our district membership, my positive attitude about the direction our district needs to take, and experience serving as District Treasurer and District Financial Consultant are valuable assets for Vice Governor service. My business experiences enable me to be a good marketing and public relations representative for our District."
	Mary Reynolds, Atlanta, GA	“In addition to my love for Altrusa, I want to be a District Officer because I feel that I bring my experience of leadership as a member of the District Three Foundation Board for four years, and I would bring to the District Board of Directors my firm commitment to the belief that we have to be good for something.”
Treasurer	Danelle Hills Chapel Hill, NC	“In addition to my love for Altrusa, I want to be a District Officer because I understand what Altrusa leadership stands for, aiming for excellence in ourselves, personal development for all our members, and making a positive difference wherever and whenever we can. I would bring to the District Board of Directors my needed accounting skills, teamwork experience, Board experience, and proven character. I am dedicated to sharing and furthering Altrusa’s goals.”
Nominees for Director	Linda Arnold Waynesville, NC	“In addition to my love for Altrusa, I want to be a District Officer because I can transmit my enthusiasm to the District membership in a low-key manner. This is also an opportunity to connect my own club’s new members with involvement on the District and International levels. I would bring to the District Board of Directors a voice of trust and leadership.”
	Dana Crase Starke, FL	“In addition to my love for Altrusa, I want to be a District Officer because I feel my main asset is that I am a motivated and very enthusiastic leader. There is nothing I am more enthusiastic about than Altrusa and its principles.”
	Michella Huff Mt. Airy, NC	“In addition to my love for Altrusa, I want to be a District Officer because I want the opportunity to network with so many talented individuals. I have attended four Altrusa conferences and each time I attend I am inspired to get more involved. Altrusans throughout District Three devote so much time to worthy community projects. I would bring to the District Board of Directors a positive attitude and a strong desire to serve.”
	Linda Mews Chapel Hill, NC	“In addition to my love for Altrusa, I want to be a District Officer because my career in marketing may assist Altrusa in recruitment. As former executive of an international non-profit organization and former president of a Chamber of Commerce, I was responsible for finances, projects and administration. I’m committed to District’s top standing in Altrusa. I’m a team player, goal-oriented, and hard-working.”
	Susy Meier Atlanta, GA	“In addition to my love for Altrusa, I want to be a District Officer because I want to see Altrusa grow as an organization and community. The leadership skills I have acquired through my experience can be enhanced and help the District to grow and prosper. I would bring to the Board of Directors a positive and energetic outlook, analytical skills, and a strong desire to assist the leadership of District Three.”
	Norma Teuton North Georgia, GA	“In addition to my love for Altrusa, I want to be a District Officer because I believe that I have gained knowledge in many areas of Altrusa while forming a new Altrusa club and would bring to the District Board of Directors the enthusiasm and excitement for Altrusa that all of my club members possess in order to help District Three increase and retain membership in the next biennium.”

	For the District Officers (except Treasurer), candidates nominated from the floor must have served one full term as a Club President or be serving as Club President at the time of the election.
	A candidate for the District Treasurer must have served either a full term as Club President or Club Treasurer or be serving as the same at the time of the election and also must have general accounting knowledge or experience.

Nominations will be open during the first business meeting on Friday morning. Once the nominations are closed, a candidates forum will be held. This is your opportunity to ask questions of the candidates. Voting takes place following the workshops on Friday afternoon. The results are announced during the second business meeting Saturday morning.
