Dues are sent to the District Three Treasurer. You can find the name and address of the District Three Treasurer on the Roster page. Until dues are received by the District and International, a new member is not counted a member even though they may have been initiated by the club. 1. Logon to the District Three web site (www.districtthree.org). 2. From the Home Page, click on Tools and then click on Rosters. 3. Scroll down to District Board of Directors. Remember, a username and password are required. Where do I send International Dues? Altrusa International 332 S. Michigan Ave. Chicago, IL 60604 What are District Three Dues? Annual District Three dues are $20.00. A past due amount per member of $2.00 is payable if dues are not received by June 15 each year. Does District Three have half-year dues? No. Altrusa International has half-year dues beginning in December. If a member joins in April, what are the dues? What time period is covered by dues paid in April or May? If a person becomes an Altrusan in April or May, both the International and District dues cover a 14 month period. Currently, the District dues are $20.00. District Three Conference What is the Conference Delegate Fee? When is it due? The Conference Delegate Fee is used to help cover the cost of the Conference. The amount of the fee is based on the number of members as maintained by the District Treasurer as of January 31st. The fee is due by February 15 each year and must be sent to the District Three Treasurer. An invoice is sent to each club on February 1st. From 1 to 20 Altrusans - $20.00 From 21 to 40 Altrusans - $40.00 From 41 to 60 Altrusans - $60.00 From 61 to 80 Altrusans - $80.00 Over 81 Altrusans - $100.00 How many delegates and alternates does my club have? The number of delegates (and, alternates) is based on the number of members as reported by the District Three Treasurer as of January 31 of each year. There is 1 delegate per 20 members with a total limit of 5 delegates. Each club has the same number of alternates. Alternates serve at Conference only when the delegate is unable to fulfill the obligation. Once an alternate replaces a delegate, a change back to the original delegate cannot be made. Where do I get a copy of the Conference Registration Form? The Conference Registration will be available on the District Three website and will also be published in the Call to Conference issue of the DSB. This issue is published on or about February 1st. Who votes at Conference? Each club has a specified number of delegates they may sent to the Conference; the number of delegates is based on the club membership as of January 31st as maintained by the District Three Treasurer. Only these delegates may vote if they have registered and are properly certified. These delegates plus the District Three Board of Directors and past Governors are allowed to vote on matters that come before the Assembly. They may also vote for the new Board of Directors to guide the District in each odd-numbered year. Each year, the District Three Foundation will have an election to elect Trustees to the Foundation Board. All Altrusans who are registered for the Conference have one vote for the Foundation Board.
